What you will learn

Explain the structure, intent, and requirements of the CMMC 2.0 framework and how it applies to organizations handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

Apply the CMMC Assessment Process (CAP) methodology to plan, conduct, and report on a CMMC Level 2 assessment.

Evaluate the effectiveness of security practices by interpreting assessment objectives, determining sufficiency of objective evidence, and scoring controls accurately.

Identify, gather, and validate objective evidence needed to assess implementation of NIST SP 800-171–aligned practices.

Analyze system security plans (SSPs), policies, procedures, and artifacts to assess readiness and identify gaps.

Scope an assessment environment effectively, including enclave identification, asset categorization, and boundary considerations in accordance with DoD CMMC guidance.

Demonstrate readiness for the CCA certification exam through mock exam performance and instructor-guided reinforcement sessions.
